=Unique Unit 2 - EDF Mobile Rocket Artillery= Its main strength comes from the fact that it costs slightly less Production to build, and requires two Aluminum resources rather than one Uranium, allowing the Earth Defense Force to divert its Uranium stores.elsewhere. The EDF Main Battle Tank, while slightly weaker and slower than the Giant Death Robot it replaces, is still a formidable opponent on the battlefield thanks to its combat capabilities that allow it to hold its own against most threats. The Earth Defense Force receives +2 Production and +1 Gold for every Mine. However, their main weakness is in their Aluminum stores, as both of their unique units require two Aluminum to build. In addition, their two incredibly powerful late-game unique Units make the Earth Defense Force a Civ that is not to be underestimated in modern combat, especially when the nukes start flying. Whether they are producing units for a Domination Victory, Science structures for a Science Victory, or building up a strong economy, they are able to do these things much more effectively than other Civilizations, rocketing ahead of the pack in the Production and Gold game. This allows EDF cities to produce units and structures much faster than any other Civ, making the Earth Defense Force a formidable opponent regardless of victory type. The Earth Defense Force, led by Admiral Lucius Kobel, is a very industrial-oriented Civilization thanks to a bonus based around industrial and economic power. However, the mod is almost guaranteed to be a horribly broken - but playable - mess without the second expansion pack, so if you do not have the Brave New World expansion pack, proceed into a game with this mod at your own risk. However, as with every other mod I have created, I have chosen not to modify the dependency setting to require Brave New World, so those that do not have it can use the mod as they please.
